Beta — multi-state release. Only Gujarat data is loaded today. More states will appear as datasets are compiled. Evidence review is ongoing.

About Sarkari Vaade

Sarkari Vaade is a public Promise Tracker that checks election manifesto promises against publicly available evidence — across every Indian state where the same ruling party has been in office for at least three years.

We are starting with Gujarat (BJP, 2022 Sankalp Patra). Datasets for Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Assam, Haryana, Odisha, Tripura, Sikkim, Manipur, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, West Bengal, Delhi and others will be added as they are compiled — each tracked on the same evidence rules.

Editorial principles

  • Non-partisan
  • Evidence-first
  • Public records only
  • No anonymous claims used for verdicts
  • No WhatsApp forwards used as evidence
  • Party claims are not treated as final proof unless backed by government, statutory or independently verifiable records
  • Verdicts are updated when stronger evidence emerges
  • Departments and citizens are invited to submit corrections

Right to respond

If a department, official, party representative, researcher or citizen has a public source that corrects or improves any entry, they can submit it through the Submit Evidence page. Verified corrections will be incorporated, and the change will be recorded in the verdict-history log.

Disclaimer

This tracker is an evidence-mapping project, not a judicial finding. It is based on records available to the public at the time of review.

How to cite this work

When citing a verdict from this tracker, please link the underlying public source we have referenced — not just this page. Our role is to organise and triangulate sources, not to replace them.

Beta release. Multi-state architecture is live; only Gujarat (114 commitments) is currently loaded. Additional states will be added via CSV import as data is compiled.
